In addition to some of the standard user Chat Commands, models may also use the chat commands on this page.

Standard Chat Commands

Type any of the commands below in your chat room. Some of the commands also work in a Private Message window.

/help

  • Usage: /help

Shows a list of all chat commands in a pop-up window.

/pm

  • Usage: /pm [username] [message] : (where [username] is any online member or model, and [message] is your message)
  • Example: /pm bigbob1 Hello : (this would send "Hello" to the online model "bigbob1" if he is online)

Send a private message to [username] if they are online. This only works with online private messages, not offline private messages.

/topic

  • Usage: /topic [new topic]
  • Example: /topic Welcome to my room! : (this would set your room topic as "Welcome to my room!")

Set the model's room topic.

/away

  • Usage: /away

Sets model to Away. If in public, group, or private, this will set model as "Away" same as clicking the "Away" link under the video.

/live

  • Usage: /live

Brings model back from Away to Public Chat, same as clicking the "I'm Back" link under the away screen.

/mute

This command serves two functions:

1. Toggling whether or not Basic Members and Guests may chat in your room:

  • Usage: /mute [basic | guest] [on | off | show] : (where the first part is either "basic" or "guest" and the second part is "on" or "off" or "show".)
  • Example: /mute guest on : (this would mute guests in the room.)

2. Muting specific members in your room:

  • Usage: /mute Username [time] : (where Usename is the member's username and [time] is how many minutes or hours, default is 6 hours)
  • Example: /mute Bob1234 5m or /mute Bob1234 10h : (this would mute Bob1234 for 5 minutes or 10 hours.)
  • Note: You may also clear any recent chat from the Muted user by doing: "/mute -c Bob1234"

/friend and /unfriend

  • Usage: /friend [username]
  • Usage: /unfriend [username]
  • Example: /friend bigbob1 : (this would add the member "bigbob1" to your friends list.)

Add or Remove a user from your friends list.

/ban and /unban

  • Usage: /ban [username]
  • Usage: /unban [username]
  • Example: /ban bigbob1 : (this would ban the member "bigbob1".)

Add or Remove a user from your banned members list.

  • Note: You may also clear any recent chat from the Muted user by doing: "/ban -c bigbob1"

/ignore and /unignore

  • Usage: /ignore [username]
  • Usage: /unignore [username]
  • Example: /ignore bigbob1 : (this would add the member "bigbob1" to your ignored users list.)

Add or Remove a user from your ignore list.

/lookup

  • Usage: /lookup [username]
  • Example: /lookup bigbob1 : (this would bring up bigbob1's info on your screen.)

Look up a user, same as clicking on their name.

/me

  • Usage: /me [message]
  • Usage: /em [message]
  • Example: /me likes red cars. : (if your name was Julia123, it would say in the chat: "*Julia123 likes red cars.")

Write in chat room that you are performing an action.

/sarcasm

  • Usage: /sarcasm [message]
  • Usage: /sarcastic [message]
  • Usage: /sar [message]
  • Example: /sar You're really cool!

Your message in the chat room will be slanted backwards (reverse of italics) to indicate that you are being sarcastic (not serious).

/helper

  • Usage: /rh [username]
  • Usage: /helper [username]
  • Example: /rh Bob123 : This would set member Bob123 as your Room Helper.
  • Usage: /rh show : Tells the model the current room helper.
  • Usage: /rh none : Removes any active room helper.

There can only be one Room Helper at a time, and making someone new a Room Helper will automatically remove it from the previous user.

Room Helpers automatically reset when you log off. They are intentionally temporary.

Room Helpers are able to set your Room Topic, Ban Users from your room, and Mute Guests/Basics. See the Room Helper page for more info.

/countdown

Also see the full wiki page on Countdowns.

  • Usage: /countdown [total] [remaining (optional)]
  • Usage: /c [total] [remaining (optional)]
  • Example: /c 1000 : This would start a new countdown from 1000 tokens.
  • Example: /c 1000 200 : This would start a countdown from 1000 tokens that only had 200 tokens remaining to finish (800 tokens already earned).
  • Usage: /c [+/-adjustment] (Note: A "plus" adjustment cannot exceed tokens left in the count, a "minus" adjustment cannot exceed tokens earned so far.)
  • Example: /c +100 : This simulates someone tipping you 100 tokens. (e.g. If someone sent a ninja tip and you want it to count.)
  • Example: /c -100 : This is to "undo" a tip of 100 tokens. (e.g. If someone tipped but you did not want it to count.)
  • Usage: /c none : Removes any active countdown.
  • Usage: /c resume : Resumes a countdown that was interrupted due to a short term disconnection.
